New Ad Campaign By Under Armour Presents Gisele Bundchen in a New Avatar

Under Armour had made its new multi-million dollar women’s campaign with ballerina Misty Copeland. For its latest in sequel commercial, Under Armour chose a much familiar face. Just after under Armour made official announcement about the supermodel Gisele being its first spokesperson, who is non-athlete, Twitter community responded immediately. Reactions were both positive and negative. This does not mean that it is going to make a big difference to the model or the brand! Haters going to hate and Bundchen looks like do not care! These reactions appeared on Twitter after 2nd September’s announcement.

On Sept. 4, that is just two days after, Under Armour made release of their brand new campaign that says, “I Will What I Want”. The campaign video shows ex- Victoria’s Secret Angel, jumping, kicking, and punching her beautifully toned body. Bundchen, who got married to Tom Brady in the year 2009, is seen wearing a dark wood colored Under Armour sports brassier and matches it well with sports leggings that are of knee-length fashion. Both of the pieces are from performance line’s new collection.

Gisele who is mother of Benjamin, 4 years and Vivian, 1, year old displayed her awesome abs. The Twitter comments read like “Under Armour! WTF?” And another said, “Is modeling now a sport?” But this did not make Gisele loose her confidence. We cannot say now that she just a model. She has proved so many of her qualities!

While talking about this ad campaign Gisele said, “This incredibly inspirational initiative serves as a powerful reminder of all the amazing things women can do despite the pressures and criticisms we may encounter. Having the strength to tune out negativity and remain focused on what I want gives me the will and confidence to achieve my goals.”

We know ‘Under Armour’ for ultra-masculine ad campaign from long time. The Company usually has football players in campaigns. But this new ad campaign has Copeland, Bündchen, and Lindsey. Campaign showcases woman as empowered and trying to rebrand the sportswear as new fashion trend!
