Pop Singer Lykke Li Joins Hands With & Other Stories
The Swedish pop singer Lykke Li is joining hands with fashion brand named & Other Stories, which is owned by H&M. They are together to an exclusive capsule collection, which will comprise of ready-to-wear bags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. One who is well versed with Lykke Li’s fashion style then it’s no doubt is a good news! The collection will have pocket-friendly prices as $60 for shorts, cashmere sweater will cost $175 and last but not the least leather boots will cost $345.
Li expressed her feelings about the collection at press conference as, “This collection will be my uniform until the day I die. From hotel slippers and loafers to cigarette pants and the perfect blazer to the cashmere sweater and the silk shirt. You get the point, be the man you want to marry!” The collection which includes flat heeled crocs and alligator tote are definitely going to be a hit this fall. These both will also come in smooth leather versions. The & Other Stories ready-mades apparel designer Behnaz Aram said, “Lykke and I talked about creating something together for quite a while. We share the same aesthetics and love for classics and quality. All the pieces are versatile, keeping the nomad perspective at heart.”
The collection has a minimalistic trend as the main color of the collection is black. This capsule is a must have for every new-Yorker! The exception to this rule are pima cotton plus silk chiffon tops, a heavy wool silk blazer, silk flared trousers and leather shorts. The jewelry which is essential part of the collection looks like inspired from secret hobo signs that we would see written on fences and walls which give information about location to travelers.
The collection will be introduced under & Other Stories Co-lab collection label. Before Lykke Li, the brand has already collaborated for shoe collection with Richard Braqo, which can be still bought online. This recent capsule collection will hit stores in October at the same time will be available online. Meanwhile 30-second documentary featuring Lykke Li talking about her collaboration is available!
