West and Kim at Sager’s ‘New works’ Exhibition
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were seen getting cozy at the opening of “New Works” exhibition by Carole Bayer Sager hosted at William Turner Gallery in Santa Monica. The event happened on Thursday, Sept. 18. The duo opted for matching dressing theme. Kardashian, wore a deep-neck crop top, combined with matching broad leg trousers. She hair were styled in loose, slicked-back way. She opted for bronzed makeup for her beautiful face! The star of Keeping up with the Kardashians was looking polished. The rapper besides the beauty wore a light shaded shirt with collar. The Kanye 37, did not forget to show off his brand new arrow symbol haircut.
Sager, is the songwriter behind chartbusters like “That’s What Friends Are For” , “On My Own.” She started painting in 2006. Lots of Sager’s songs from 1980’s were co-written with her ex husband, the famous composer Burt Bacharach. She has also worked in collaboration with Brian Wilson, Marvin Hamlisch, Neil Diamond, Peter Allen, Michael Masser, Melissa Manchester, Neil Sedaka, Bruce Roberts, David Foster, Sheena Easton, and many more. She was the executive-producer of the famous album for June Pointer,who was in 1989 the member of the legendary pop/R&B group, The Pointer Sisters.
Sager has won Academy Award as well as Grammy Award. She also won two Golden Globes . Ms. Sager won the Academy Award for Best Song in the year 1981 for Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do). It was the theme song of the movie named Arthur. She has also shared this Oscar with other co-writers like Peter Allen, Christopher Cross and Burt Bacharach.
She did her first ever solo show in the year 2011, and now she is full time painter. She has done portraits of famous musicians, including Michael Jackson as well as Elton John. She has painted mouth-watering depictions of delicious food. Her second show did run for two long months at the William Turner Gallery in Los Angeles, in the year 2012.
