Winona Ryder Grabs The Slot Of Rag & Bone Fall Campaign in 2014

Fall is approaching, and the famous denim brand Rag & Bone is looking for a new partner for their fall 2014 ad campaign.

Marcus Wainwright, the managing partner of Rag & Bone brand, said to the fashion-industry trade journal, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), that the company is choosing Winona Ryder for their fall ad campaign. From now, she is the main icon of this premium brand until fall season of this year.


Winona Ryder, 42, is known for her popularity in the 90s, as well as several cases that she had involved herself into in the early 2001. She was arrested for shoplifting in a department store in Beverly Hills, and later, the judge found her guilty of vandalism and grand theft.

In 2001, she was arrested for shoplifting a $750 Marc Jacobs jumper, and several other items worth more than $5,000. Later, Marc Jacobs brand hired her for their ad campaign, despite her infamous popularity related to their products. Of course, the company choice trigged a negative reaction.

Now, she’s again hired for another big profile ad campaign. The premium denim brand Rag & Bone is looking for a good icon to market their brand to the crowd. And they need someone with a strong quality to represent their brand in a positive way.

Regarding the reason why the company chose her for the role to be the front of Rag & Bone denim brand, Wainwright said that she was chosen for her beautiful and timeless quality.

The unique quality about Winona Ryder is that she has an interesting side for someone who is landing a good career in the entertainment industry. She never takes any offer to be a movie star. Besides, her quality gives a bona fide image for the brand.

She will be featured in the brand’s fall campaign along with Michael Pitt, which will represent Rag & Bone Men’s Wears.
